Sabelt in the UK have developed with their partners ACS, a new seat & harness combination suitable for use for Troop Carrying Vehicles.

This can be mounted either as a single seat for Multi Role Vehicles, Future Light Combat Vehicles, or on a rear truck bed enabling Troops & Cargo to be carried safely on the same platform. The truck based unit also offers a multi seat facility along with a ROPS cage to protect the occupants. The seats can be manufactured from steel or specialist lightweight metals or composites depending on the operational requirement and use. The harness is mounted integral with the seat allowing quick fitment and removal as necessary.
